1/22/2020 3:00:00 PM

The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team will welcome Missouri-St. Louis to TRAC on Thursday night for a 5:30 p.m. tipoff.

The Prairie Stars are looking to continue their improved offensive play against the Tritons. On Monday, UIS had its second-highest point total of the season against Lewis, but it couldn't pull out a victory in an 86-77 setback.

Missouri-St. Louis is 1-4 in its last five games. Included in that stretch is a 92-86 road loss to Lindenwood last Monday night.

In GLVC games this season, both UIS and Missouri-St. Louis are averaging just under 67 points a game. The Prairie Stars are allowing 70.8 points in league contests, while the Tritons are giving up 75.0 points in GLVC play.
