The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team will travel to Quincy this Saturday for a 3 p.m. GLVC contest.
The Prairie Stars are looking to break out of an offensive slump, including during a 74-61 loss at Truman State on Thursday night. UIS shot just over 40 percent from the field, and was held under 10 three-pointers for the second straight game.
Quincy is on a three-game winning streak, including a 69-68 buzzer-beater on Thursday against Lewis. The other wins were against Missouri S&T and Maryville.
Illinois Springfield is sixth in NCAA Division II by making 12.3 three-pointers per game. It will be going up against a Quincy squad that is allowing opponents to make just 32.3 percent of their three-point attempts on the year.
