The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team looks to rebound this week with a pair of road games, starting with a trip to Kirksville, Mo. on Thursday for a 7:30 p.m. showdown against Truman State.
UIS fell on its home court for the first time this season last Saturday with a 68-54 loss against Rockhurst.
Truman State is 4-0 on its home court this year, including victories over Missouri S&T and Maryville last week.
The game will be a homecoming for UIS head coach
Matt Brock. Brock was a four-year letterwinner for Truman, and a key player on the 2006 team which made the NCAA Division II Tournament. UIS assistant coach
Pat Sodemann also has Truman ties, as he was an assistant coach at the school last season.
