The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team looks for its second straight GLVC win on Saturday. The Prairie Stars will host Rockhurst in a 1 p.m. game at TRAC.

The Prairie Stars picked up their first conference win of the season on Thursday with a 71-46 victory over William Jewell. UIS scored the first 12 points of the game, and were never threatened after that.

Rockhurst is tied with UIS in the conference standing with a 1-3 mark. The Hawks have lost two straight, including an 85-74 setback on Thursday at Lewis.

In GLVC play, Illinois Springfield leads the league by allowing just 61.5 points a game. The Prairie Stars are holding teams to just 28.8 percent shooting from three-point range, which will be tested against the Hawks, who make 7.6 a game.
