The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team returns home on Saturday afternoon looking for its seventh straight victory on its home court. The Prairie Stars will be taking on Rockhurst in a 3 p.m. game.

UIS earned a 92-63 victory over William Jewell on Thursday night at TRAC. The Prairie Stars trailed 24-17 with eight minutes left in the first half, but outscored the Cardinals 75-39 the rest of the way.

Rockhurst lost its first GLVC game on Thursday with a 78-69 loss at Lewis. The Hawks clawed back from a 25-point deficit, but ran out of momentum in the final minutes of the contest.

UIS is averaging 85.2 points a game over its last five games, a span in which the team is 4-1. Rockhurst is giving up just 61.0 points a contest in GLVC games.
