Women's Tennis Picks Up 7-0 Shutout Win Versus McKendree

The University of Illinois Springfield women's tennis team shutout McKendree by a 7-0 score on Saturday afternoon in Springfield, Ill.
 
UIS won all six matches, and also received three forfeit victories. In doubles, Neha Mokhasi and Ashley Long won in a tiebreaker at No. 1 by a score of 7-6 (8-6). Steph Reynolds and Maegan Flight won by a 6-0 score at No. 2 doubles.
 
In singles, Mokhasi and Long both picked up their second victories of the day. Kena Bere and Kaitlyn Thornhill won the other matches that were played.
 
UIS improves to 12-3 on the season. The Prairie Stars are on the road this upcoming Wednesday at Lewis.
