The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis team fell to 25th-ranked Indianapolis on Friday afternoon in Springfield by a 7-0 margin.

Sam Clarke and
Tommy Martinez went up against the No. 16 doubles team in the nation and fell by a 6-4 margin after a hard fought set. In singles play, five of the 12 sets were decided by two games or less. Both
Logan Burgess Hayes and Martinez won eight games in their two sets, including Burgess Hayes falling 9-7 in a second-set tiebreaker.
