The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis team ended its regular season with a 7-0 victory over Bellarmine on Saturday in Louisville, Ky.
 
UIS earned the doubles points after 
Logan Burgess Hayes and 
Matthew Lapsley won 6-2 at No. 2 doubles, and 
Alex Chan and 
Oscar Toro won 6-2 at No. 3 doubles.
 
UIS then swept the six singles matches. Winners were 
Sam Clarke, Burgess Hayes, 
Tommy Martinez, Chan, Toro, and Lapsley. Lapsley lost just one game, and Clarke and Martinez each dropped just two games.
 
UIS is now 13-3 on the season. The Prairie Stars will begin play at the GLVC Tournament next Friday.
