The University of Illinois Springfield women's tennis team downed Quincy on Friday in Springfield, Ill. by a 7-0 score.

The Prairie Stars won their 10th match of the season by not dropping a single contest. All three doubles teams of
Neha Mokhasi and
Ashley Long,
Maegan Flight and
Steph Reynolds, and
Kena Bere and
Nethra Thenappan won by scores of 6-1.

In singles play, the six players did not drop a single set. Mokhasi had the best win at No. 1 singles by a 6-0, 6-1 score. Other winners were Long at No. 2, Flight at No. 3, Bere at No. 4,
Kaitlyn Thornhill at No. 5, and Thenappan at No. 6.

UIS improves to 10-2 on the season. The Prairie Stars start GLVC action tomorrow in Washington Park against Southern Indiana.
