University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis player
Sam Clarke made program history on Friday afternoon during the team's 7-0 victory over Quincy. Clarke became the school's all-time wins leader during the NCAA era.

Clarke won both of his doubles and singles matches against the Hawks, which were his 121st and 122nd victories of his career. The senior has won 67 singles matches and 55 doubles matches, and combined has a record of 122-62 in his four-year career. He is having his best year in 2018-19, including a 16-1 singles record, and he has won 14 straight in singles play.

On Friday, Clarke teamed up with
Tommy Martinez for a 6-0 doubles victory. At No. 1 singles, he defeated his opponent by scores of 6-3, 6-1.

Other doubles winners were the teams of
Logan Burgess Hayes and
Menno Servaes, and
Oscar Toro and
Alex Chan, both of which won by 6-2 scores. In singles, Servaes won at No. 2, Burgess Hayes was victorious at No. 3, Chan won his No. 4 match, Toro won at No. 5, and
Matthew Lapsley defeated his opponent at No. 6.
