The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis captured a 5-2 win on Tuesday in Hilton Head Island, S.C. in a dual against Chowan.

UIS and Chowan split the two doubles matches that were played, but the Prairie Stars earned the point after a forfeit at No. 3 doubles.
Logan Burgess Hayes and
Menno Servaes captured the No. 2 doubles by a 6-2 score.

In singles, UIS won the final three flights to capture the victory. Besides a victory at No. 6, Servaes won at No. 4, and
Alex Chan lost just a single game at No. 5.
Sam Clarke also won at No. 1 singles by scores of 6-1, 6-4.

UIS improves to 8-2 on the season. The Prairie Stars will next take on Charleston on Thursday.
