The University of Illinois Springfield women's tennis team remained undefeated on the season with a 6-1 victory over William Jewell on Saturday.

UIS swept all three doubles matches and five of the six singles competitions. Maegan Flight, Kaitlyn Thornhill, and Steph Reynolds each went 2-0 on the day.

In doubles, the teams of Bere/Thornhill and Flight/Reynolds each won by 6-2 scores. In singles action, Thornhill had the best victory with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles.

UIS is now 5-0 on the year. The Prairie Stars will be in action again on Sunday at Rockhurst.
