The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team set a school record with 22 three-pointers on Saturday. The Prairie Stars defeated Oakland City by a 108-71 score in Oakland City, Ind.

UIS shot 50 percent from three-point range as it also set a new program mark with 44 attempts. It was nine-of-20 in the first half when it outscored the Mighty Oaks by a 47-31 margin. The Prairie Stars then made 13-of-24 in the final 20 minutes. Seven different players made at least one three-pointer, led by six from
Chase Robinson and five from
Keymonta Johnson. The team total of 22 were the third-most makes in a game in NCAA Division II this season.

Johnson finished with a double-double with 29 points and 11 rebounds. He made 11-of-14 shots from the field, including all six from inside the three-point arc. Robinson cracked 30 points for the second time this year, including six-of-nine from three-point range.
Jesus Castillo had 12 points, followed by
Alonso Meana with 11.
Aundrae Williams had nine points on the afternoon.

UIS had its second-most points in program history, and also its second-most assist with 27. Williams had a team-high six, followed by Castillo, Meana, and Robinson with five apiece.
Kaj Days had a team-high four steals.

UIS improves to 6-2 on the season. The Prairie Stars return home on Wednesday, Dec. 18, with a 7 p.m. game against Missouri Western.
