The UIS volleyball team picked up a needed road victory on Saturday with a 3-0 sweep over Southwest Baptist. The final scores were 25-18, 25-20, and 25-13.
 
UIS hit .284 on the afternoon, led by 10 kills and a .529 hitting mark from Alli Splitt.  Brianna Bush also had nine kills and led the team with three blocks. Kenzie Hendon finished with seven kills and a team-high 10 digs. Becca Blakeley had 33 assists from her setter position.
 
UIS improves to 18-12 on the season, and 7-6 in GLVC play. The Prairie Stars end the regular season next weekend at home against William Jewell and Rockhurst.
