The University of Illinois Springfield women's soccer team fell to Truman State on Sunday afternoon at Kiwanis Stadium in Springfield, Ill. by a 2-0 score.
 
Both teams had just four shots on goal in the game, but it was Truman who took advantage with two goals.  The first came early in the game in the seventh minute, and the second was eight minutes into the second half.
 
UIS finished the match by outshooting Truman State by a 13-8 margin in total shots. Maggie Juhlin had the most chances for UIS, taking four shot including one on goal. Allison Hackett and Sierra Cenek both had three total shots in the game. Bailey Cross made two saves in goal.
 
UIS falls to 5-5-0 on the year, and 4-3-0 in GLVC play.​ The Prairie Stars will be home again on Friday night for their Homecoming contest against Bellarmine.
