The University of Illinois Springfield women's soccer team fell to Quincy by a 2-0 score on Friday night at Kiwanis Stadium in Springfield, Ill.
 
Quincy outshot UIS by a 17-13 margin, including a 7-3 mark on shots on goal. The Hawks scored less than four minutes of the game to grab an early lead, and then added an insurance goal in the 59th minute.
 
Allison Hackett and 
Erin Bolskar both had three shots in the game for UIS. 
Bailey Cross made five saves in goal.
 
UIS falls to 5-4-0 on the year, and 4-2-0 in GLVC play. The Prairie Stars will host Truman State on Sunday at noon.
