The University of Illinois Springfield men's soccer team outshoot the No. 22 team in NCAA Division II on Sunday afternoon at Lebanon, Ill., but McKendree was still able to pull out a 1-0 win over the Prairie Stars.

UIS had an 11-10 edge in shots, including a 7-5 mark in shots on goal. McKendree made all seven saves though, keeping the Prairie Stars off the board in the game. The only goal came in the 30th minute when one of the GLVC top offenses got its only score of the day.

Javier Milla led the team with three shots and two shots on goal.
Pijus Petkevicius made four saves on the day in goal.

UIS falls to 5-7-2 overall and 3-6-2 in conference action. The Prairie Stars are back in action on Friday at William Jewell.
