The University of Illinois Springfield volleyball program opened up the 2019 Midwest Region Crossover with a 3-0 sweep over Trevecca Nazarene. The Prairie Stats captured the match with scores of 25-15, 25-17, and 25-19.

UIS had one of its best offensive contests of the year, hitting .384 for the match, including a .500 mark for each of the first two sets. The Prairie Stars top five hitters in the match combined for a .439 hitting percentage, including 37 kills in 66 attempts.

Alli Splitt led the offense with 12 kills and just one error in 17 attempts, a hitting percentage of .647.
Brianna Bush and
Jailyn Borum each had 10 kills, and both hit over .300.
Megan Krasowski had five kills and no errors in 12 attempts.

Becca Blakeley had 32 assists in the match. Bush,
Jenny Rush, Borum, and Blakeley all had two service aces. Defensively,
Rachel Cobert had a team-high 11 digs, and Borum had a team-high with three blocks.

UIS is now 13-7 on the year. The Prairie Stars will be back in action tomorrow against Northern Michigan and nationally-ranked Michigan Tech.
