Box Score The University of Illinois Springfield men's soccer team fell on the road Friday night by a 3-0 score against Southern Indiana.
The game was even except for a two-minute period early in the game. Southern Indiana struck quickly for all three goals, starting with one just 12:43 into the game. It added a second goal 16 seconds later, and then scored one more at the 14:47 mark.
Southern Indiana finished the match with a 17-10 advantage in shots, and a 9-2 edge in shots on goal. The Screaming Eagles also had 12 corner kicks, compared to three for the Prairie Stars.

UIS falls to 5-6-2 overall and 3-5-2 in GLVC play. The Prairie Stars will be on the field again on Sunday at nationally-ranked McKendree.
