The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team will look for its second straight win on Thursday when it hosts Missouri-St. Louis at 5:30 p.m. at TRAC.
The Prairie Stars earned their first GLVC victory last Saturday with an 84-73 victory over McKendree. Missouri-St. Louis has lost two straight conference games, with both being by four points or less.
Earlier this season, Missouri-St. Louis won the first meeting with UIS with an 82-54 victory. The Prairie Stars started slow, shooting under 20 percent for the first half, while the Tritons shot over 50 percent for the game.
Missouri-St. Louis leads the all-time series by a 12-2 margin. Last season, UIS won the meeting in Springfield by a 69-65 margin.
