The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team is 2-0 in 2019, and looks to extend that winning streak on Saturday with a 1 p.m. game against Maryville inside TRAC.

UIS is tied for sixth in the GLVC Point Rating System with a 3.00 rating. Maryville is currently ranked fourth in the GLVC Point Rating System with a 4.10 rating.

Earlier this season, the Saints fought to a 74-64 victory against the Prairie Stars on Nov. 29. Last season, the two teams split their season series. In Springfield, UIS claimed a 56-46 victory against Maryville on Senior Night. Shelbi Patterson delivered 19 points while Destiny Ramsey notched 16 points and 16 rebounds. Maryville fended off UIS 65-59 at St. Louis last season.
