The University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) men's soccer team rallied past the University of Wisconsin-Parkside with a 4-3 victory during Thursday's matchup at Kenosha, Wis.

UIS (1-2) netted two goals in the final five minutes of the match to take the victory.

"Our attacking game was very good," UIS coach
Adam Hall said. "I was very happy with the boys' commitment. They faced a difficult challenge being down with so little time left."

Wisconsin-Parkside (1-2) took a 1-0 lead with seven seconds left in the first half. From 70 yards out, Kapaw Htoo fired a pass to Jack Mittlesteadt, giving Mittlesteadt about 50 yards in a 1-on-1 breakaway and Mittlesteadt finished the score. Htoo was given an assist.

UIS evened the score 48 seconds into the second half. The Prairie Stars sent a cross into the box.
Terence Bynoe recovered a loose ball and contributed the equalizer for his first career collegiate goal.

Twenty seconds later, Mittlestadt scored his second goal of the day after taking a pass that deflected off a UIS defender into the goal. Leki Prpa provided the assist.

UIS evened the score at 2-all during the 64th minute.
Fernando Sanz de Galdeano played a ball off his body and lined it up for
Javier Milla to produce a rocket from about 21 yards out to tie the game. Sanz de Galdeano earned an assist.

The Rangers took a 3-2 lead after Reyes Perez lofted a ball from about 50 yards out. Joe Elwell was able to receive the pass and send in the goal. Perez was credited with the assist.

Thiago Fernandes was able to gain momentum upfield and tie the match at 3-all during the 86th minute.
Rory Carlson and
Mario Falsone each produced assists.

With 38 seconds left in the match,
Mario Gonzalez sent a cross to Falsone and Falsone delivered the game-winning goal. Gonzalez was credited with the assists.

Falsone scored three points off a goal and an assist. The junior from Edinburgh, Scotland tallied three shots including one shot on goal. Among UIS Division II career leaders, Falsone is tied for third in goals (9), ranks fourth in points (22), is tied for fourth in game-winning goals (3) and tied for sixth in assists (4).

Rhys Wallace turned in three shots including two shots on goal. Milla provided two shots and scored on his only shot on target. Bynoe and Fernandes each found the back of the net on their only shot.
Adrian Ortega notched three shots. Sanz de Galdeano recorded two shots including one shot on goal. Carlson and Gonzalez both finished with one shot on goal.
Edward Rose provided two shots.

Josh Moore each turned in a shot.
