The University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) men's soccer team put together a scoreless draw against Rockhurst University during Sunday's Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) matchup at Kansas City, Mo.
Mario Falsone led the Prairie Stars (2-2-2, 1-0-1) with four shots and two shots on goal.
Rory Carlson provided UIS's remaining shot on goal.

Federico Verlichi and Nandor Benucci contributed three shots apiece for the Hawks (1-2-2, 0-0-2). Turner Hall, Pablo Salvador Lopez, Preston Mboob and Umoh Ufot tallied two shots each while Will Rudder, Andrew Patke, Dylan Brown, Chandler Parrish and Chandler Peterson each registered shots.
Pijus Petkevicius collected four saves for the Prairie Stars (2-2-2, 1-0-1) in his second consecutive shutout. The freshman from Vilnius, Lithuania served the entire 110 minutes in goal.
Nick Randazzo served as goalkeeper for the Hawks for 110 minutes and saved both of the shots he faced for a shutout.
Rockhurst held a 19-to-9 shot advantage against UIS as well as a 6-to-3 advantage in shots on goal.
UIS is scheduled for two conference matches next week. The Prairie Stars clash with the University of Indianapolis (6-0, 2-0), ranked No. 11 in the latest United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA Division II poll, on Friday at 6:30 p.m. CT in Indianapolis. UIS then battles Lewis University (1-1-3, 0-0-1) on Sunday at 12 p.m. in Romeoville.
