JACKSONVILLE, IL – University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) women's track and field athlete
Teddy Beaucham tied the indoor school record in the shot put during Friday's Hilltop Invite.

Beaucham claimed fifth place in the shot put with a distance of 10.20 meters (33 feet, 5.75 inches).

Krissy Finley captured third in the 800-meter run, posting a time of 2 minutes, 22.61 seconds. The senior from Rochester, IL qualified for the Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Championships with her performance.

Claire Eaton closed out the 3,000 in fourth (11:49.64).
Gloria Esarco crossed the finish line fifth (2:25.06).

Aeriel Storey raced to sixth (8.25) in the 60-meter dash. The junior from Peoria, IL sprinted to a time of 28.36 seconds in the 200.

Maddie Logsdon turned in a distance of 8.29 meters (27 feet, 2.5 inches) in the triple jump.

LeeNaya Brewer launched the shot put 8.60 meters (28 feet, 2.75 inches),
Madi Shane fired the shot put 7.30 meters (23 feet, 11.75 inches) and
Emily Ortega recorded a distance of 6.72 meters (22 feet, 0.75 inches).

In the 1-mile run,
Rachael Crowley clocked a time of 5:54.18,
Savannah Brannan locked up a time of 5:55.52 and
Hannah Roberts ran to a time of 6:45.46.

"We had strong and positive competitive efforts to close the indoor season for a majority of the team," UIS coach
Mike De Witt said.
