The University of Illinois Springfield volleyball team made program history on Sunday night when it earned its first bid for the NCAA Division II National Tournament. The Prairie Stars are the No. 6 seed in the Midwest Regional, and will face No. 3 Rockhurst on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Springfield, Mo. The winner of that game will face the winner of the Ferris State/Ashland match on Friday at 5 p.m., with the hopes of playing in the championship match on Saturday at 6 p.m.
