SPRINGFIELD, IL --- The Prairie Stars (5-4, 2-4) outshot the Greyhounds 20-12 on the day, but were unable to find the back of the net, falling to the visitors 1-0 in overtime. After 90 minutes was not enough time to settle the match, the Prairie Stars and Greyhounds went to extra time to settle the GLVC match, which ended in the 98^th minute with UIndy putting in the game-winner.

The Prairie Stars outshot the Greyhounds 20-12 including a 14-9 advantage in shots on target, but had no luck finishing on the day. Courtney Johnson continued her stellar season with eight saves for UIS, surrendering one goal or less for the eighth time this season.

Four different Prairie Stars had three shots while ten overall took at least one shot. UIS dominated the ball control for most of the game but couldn't beat UIndy keeper, Emma Crenshaw, as she tallied her second shutout of the season.

UIS will look to shake off the loss as they head on the road to take on Wisconsin – Parkside and Lewis University next weekend before coming home for homecoming weekend which will also feature the Hall of Fame ceremony on the weekend of October 8^th.
