SPRINGFIELD, IL --- The UIS Prairie Stars are looking to get one last win as they wrap up their season Thursday with an away game against McKendree. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m. The Prairie Stars hold an overall record of 8-17 and have a 2-15 record in the GLVC.
KEY STARS Sophomore guard
Shelbi Patterson has led the team throughout the season with 9.9 points per game. She also leads in assists with 3.0 per game and steals with 1.7.
Senior guard
Meredith Marti leads the team in 3-pointers with 66 made on the season, which ranks her fourth in three's per game and third in total three's made in the conference.
Senior
Ashley McHenry leads in free throws made with a percentage of .696.
Junior forward
Syerra Cunningham continues her strong second half as she now averages 9.2 rebounds per game, second in the conference to only Mariah Brawner-Henley. Cunningham has also grabbed 99 offensive rebounds, 19 more than the next best mark and has recorded five straight double-doubles.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS McKendree University The Bearcats are 6-11 in conference, 11-16 overall. This past weekend they lost to #25 Bellarmine University (58-68) as well as Southern Indiana (50-53). The Bearcats have lost three straight and six of their last seven games.

SERIES HISTORY The Stars have an overall record of 3-4 playing the Bearcats. The two teams have each won on the others home court the last two times they have played, as UIS picked up a ten-point win to close out last season.
