Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2016-17)
Patterson appeared and started in all 26 games. She averaged team-high 32.1 minutes per game. Patterson averaged 10.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists per game. She led the team with 74 assists while she ranked second on the team with 36 steals. Patterson converted 104-of-305 (34.1 percent) shots from the field and 21-of-62 (33.9 percent) attempts from 3-points range. She reached double-figures in 12 games. Patterson scored 16 points at Hillsdale College (11/12/16), had 18 points and 8 rebounds vs. Bellarmine University (12/1/16), scored 18 points with six rebounds at Oakland City University (12/12/16) and scored a season-high 22 points with seven rebounds at Kentucky Wesleyan University (12/19/16).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-16)
Patterson was named All-Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Third-Team. She started in all 26 games and averaged 31.0 minutes. Patterson averaged 10.1 points per game and had a season best of 18 points against the University of Southern Indiana (2/18/16). She ranked first on the team in points, field goals, assists, steals, and turnovers.  Patterson tallied 44 steals on the season with a high of four vs. McKendree University (12/12/15). She had a high of 5 assists against Oakland City (12/19/15). Patterson drained 6-of-10 (60 percent) shots from the floor against Truman State University (1/9/16). She averaged 3.4 rebounds.

AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15)
Patterson appeared and started in all 26 games while averaging 28.7 minutes. She compiled 9.0 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest. Patterson made 92 baskets from the floor. She led the team with 87 helpers and 33 steals. Patterson was second on the team with 235 points. She recorded double-digit points in nine games. Patterson recorded game-high assists in seven games. She started her season off as a Prairie Star with a game and season-high of 20 points, shot 100 percent (8-for-8) from the floor, and hit 3-of-3 attempts from long range against Hillsdale (11/14/14). Patterson recorded game-highs with seven assists, one block, five steals, and hit a tie for her season-high with 20 points against Robert Morris University-Springfield (11/24/14). She dished out 10 assists against Robert Morris University-Peoria (12/10/14), which is tied for third in school history. Patterson shot 83 percent (5-for-6) from the floor at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside (1/15/15). She recorded her third best season-high of 19 points along with a game-high of seven dimes against William Jewell College (2/12/15).
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Patterson competed in basketball and track and field for four years with Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis, IN. As a junior, Patterson was selected to the All-Mid State Conference Team in basketball.
 
In track and field, Patterson clocked a time of 1 minute, 5.04 seconds in the 400-meter dash. She also competed in the 4x100 and 4x400 where Decatur Central put together times of 52.14 and 4:49.01, respectively. The Hawks took fourth in the 4x100 in the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) sectional and advanced to regionals. Decatur Central improved its 4x100 at regionals, posting a time of 51.93 seconds.
 
During her sophomore year, Patterson ran to a time of 1:06.27 in the 400. As a junior, Patterson charged to a time of 1:05.86 in the 400. She also competed in the 4x400 where Decatur Central raced to a time of 4:37.86.
 
As a senior, Patterson sprinted to a time of 29.01 seconds in the 200. She also launched distances of 33 feet, 5.5 inches in the shot put and 89 feet, 8 inches in the discus.

Patterson was named to the Decatur Central Honor Roll.
