KANSAS CITY, MO --- The Prairie Stars ended a two-game GLVC road trip with a 6-1 loss to (RV) Rockhurst. The Prairie Stars played to a 1-1 tie in the first half before the Hawks netted five goals in the second half to take the match.

Rockhurst got on the board first in the 28^th minute but the Prairie Stars were able to tie it before the end of the half, scoring in the 43^rd minute. Maggie Juhlin netted her fourth goal of the season off a pass from Madisyn Coudriet for the equalizer. Juhlin connected on a bicycle kick from eight yards out, beating the Hawks keeper on the right side of the net.

The Hawks opened up the game in the second half, scoring five goals in an 11 minute stretch, from the 55^th minute to the 66^th minute. The Prairie Stars were outshot 35-3 in the game and 18-1 in shots on goal. Courtney Johnson made 12 saves in goal for UIS.

The Prairie Stars will return home on Friday to face Bellarmine in what will serve as Senior Night for UIS. The game begins at 7:30 pm for the women with the senior ceremony preceding the match.
