INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Prairie Stars (7-11, 1-7) fell at the University of Indianapolis (13-3, 7-1) to open up a two-game road trip in Great Lakes Valley Conference play 103-77. UIS scored 44 points in the second half and shot 52 percent on the night, but a 29-point halftime deficit was too much to overcome for the Prairie Stars.

Richard Freeman opened the game by hitting a jumper on the opening possession to give the Prairie Stars an early lead, but an 11-2 run from the Greyhounds would set the pace for the rest of the game, as UIndy never trailed again.

After a three from Paxton Harmon cut the deficit to 23-17, UIndy went on an 18-0 run to break open the game. During the stretch, UIS went 0-for-5 from the field and turned the ball over eight times in nearly a six minute span. UIndy finished the half hitting six of their final seven shots to push the lead to 62-33 at the break.

In a much more competitive second half, the Prairie Stars outscored the Greyhounds 44-41 and shot 58 percent from the field, hitting 18 shots. UIS hit 8-of-21 from three on the game and got 47 points from their bench. UIS also held a 38-to-34 advantage in points in the paint.

Vince Walker, Bahari Amaya, and Jesse Tesmer each had 12 points on the night to lead the way on offense. Jamall Millison scored ten points and moves his career total to 983 as he closes in on the 1,000 point mark.

The Prairie Stars will look to rebound from this loss on Saturday as they take on Saint Joseph's with tip-off set for 3:00 pm ET.
