SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team continues GLVC play this weekend when it travels to No. 21 Drury and Missouri S&T. Game times are set for Thursday at 5:45 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m., respectively.
Quick Hits•   The Prairie Stars are 5-14 and on a season-long seven-game slide after falling to Southern Indiana, 58-70 on Saturday. Drury is in first place in the West Division and has won its last four games by an average of 14.5 points.
•   UIS has yet to win a conference game on the road this season while Drury is 7-1 overall at home.

It's Finally FebruaryUIS struggled during the month of January, going 1-10 with its lone conference win coming at home against Truman State, 72-57. The Prairie Stars were in the same position last season and picked up two wins in the month of February.
Armstrongs Lead the WayJunior
Jameeshia Armstrong leads UIS in scoring this season at 9.2 points per game. She's reached double-figures in each of the last three games. Drury guard Annie Armstrong leads the Panthers with 14.9 points per game.
Points Off TurnoversIn each of the last five games, UIS has turned the ball over at least 20 times and is now averaging 19.2 per game. On Saturday against the Screaming Eagles, the Prairie Stars only allowed 20 points off turnovers while scoring 16 themselves.
Owning the GlassUIS ranks second in the GLVC in rebounding (40.9 rpg) and is fifth in rebounding margin (+5.3). The Prairie Stars are 5-7 this season when they outrebound their opponent.

Drury (Division II Era): Panthers Leads Series 7-0This is the eighth meeting between these two squads since the Prairie Stars joined Division II. Last time these two teams met, the Panthers defeated UIS at TRAC, 78-59.
This Season:Drury is 16-3 and 10-1 in the GLVC this season. The West Division-leading Panthers have won four in-a-row and 13 of their last 14 games. Three players average at least 10 points per game led by Annie Armstrong with 14.9.
Missouri S&T (Division II Era): Miners Lead Series 6-1This is the eighth meeting between these two teams since the Prairie Stars joined Division II. Last times these two teams met, the Miners ran away with an 89-58 win in Springfield.
This Season:S&T is on a ten-game losing streak, dating back to January 2. The Miners are currently 4-15 and 0-11 in the GLVC. Janie Arand leads the team in scoring with 8.3 points per game. Three other players average at least seven points. In their current skid, the Miners have shot above 40 percent from the field only three times.
