SPRINGFIELD, IL – The University of Illinois Springfield volleyball team takes on Southern Indiana and Bellarmine for their final games of the season. Game one is set for Friday, Nov. 13 at 7:00 p.m. Game two is set Saturday, Nov. 14 at 2:00 p.m. est. time.

Last Tuesday, UIS fell to McKendree, 3-1. Junior
Ashley Beaton (Wildwood, Mo.) led the team with 12 kills. Freshman
Tiffany Wentworth (Omaha, Neb.) and sophomore
Lexi Hall (Champaign, Ill.) each dished out 15 assists.

LAST TIME- The Prairie Stars fell to Southern Indiana in straight sets on October 3. Senior Nikki Madoch (Algonquin, Ill.) led the team with six kills and an ace. Wentworth recorded nine assists along with nine digs.
- Back on October 2, UIS defeated Bellarmine for the first time in school history. Junior Nora Palermo (West Chicago, Ill) led the team with 11 kills. Wentworth dished out 17 assists and recorded eight digs.

SCOUTING SOUTHERN INDIANA- Southern Indiana sits in fifth on the east side of the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a 9-7 record.
- The Screaming Eagles are fourth in the GLVC in hitting percentage (.218).
- Junior Quin Shoultz is third in the GLVC with 10.26 assists per set.
- Senior Abbey Winter leads the team and is third in the GLVC in blocks (132).
- The Screaming Eagles are 11-1 when playing at home.
