SPRINGFIELD, IL - The University of Illinois Springfield men's soccer team looks to continue its current form as they travel to Indianapolis and St. Joseph's this weekend. Game times are set for Firday at 7:30 p.m. ET and Sunday at 2:30 p.m., respectively.

The Prairie Stars are 2-0-1 in their last three matches, including a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference wins. Last weekend, the Prairie Stars defeated Lewis 3-1 as Junior Zachary Allevi (Adelaide, Australia) scored all three goals to record the team's first hat trick of the season. UIS picked up its second win in-a-row with a 4-3 overtime victory against Wisconsin Parkside.

The Prairie Stars look to keep their win streak alive and move up in the GLVC standings with a pair of wins. 

GAME NOTES
  • UIS is 2-5-1 in conference play and 4-5-1 overall this season.
  • Junior Zachary Allevi leads the team in goals (5) and points (12).
  • Two Prairie Stars scored their first career goals at UIS last Sunday. Freshman Grant Bauer (Maryville, Ill.) the second goal against Parkside and junior Will Teichman (Springfield, Ill.) grabbed the game-winner.

ST. JOE'S
