SPRINGFIELD, IL - The University of Illinois Springfield volleyball team hosts the Lady Lions of Lindenwood Tuesday at The Recreation and Athletic Center. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday's game is a pink-out and is sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Be sure to wear pink in support of the fight against breast cancer and the American Cancer Society.

UIS is on a four-game skid since defeating Bellarmine, 3-2, back on October 2. This past weekend the Prairie Stars dropped both of their matches, falling to Indianapolis, 3-1, and St. Joseph's, 3-0. Senior Nikki Madoch (Algonquin, Ill.) finished with 21 kills and a .474 hitting percentage.

• Freshman Alyssa Hasler (South Bend, Ind.) is 8th in the GLVC in blocks (66).

LAST TIME

• In 2011 the Prairie Stars lost to Lindenwood 3-1. At the start of the 2013 season, the Lions deafeated UIS, 3-0, but the Prairie Stars got their revenge later in the year, picking up their first win against the Lions in the past four seasons with a 3-2 victory. Then-freshman Kayla Katarzynski helped her team earn the victory recording a team-high 20 digs.

SCOUTING LINDENWOOD

• The Lady Lions are 8-9 on the season with a 2-4 record on the road.
• Lindenwood has four players with triple digit kills, led by Bailey Dvorak with 170.
• Senior Sarah-Jane Pavlik leads the team in assists (460).
• The Lady Lions have four players with triple digit digs, led by Anna Reichert with 250.
