RENSSELAER, Ind. - St. Joseph's defeated the University of Illinois Springfield volleyball team in straight sets Saturday, 25-21, 25-16, 25-22.

UIS Top Performers- Nikki Madoch (Algonquin, Ill.) - finished with a team-high 10 kills while hitting .500. It's her second straight game with at least a .455 hitting percentage.
- Lexi Hall (Champaign, Ill.) - recorded a team-high 17 assists to go with eight digs and a pair of service aces.
- Kayla Katarzynski (Winfield, Ill.) - collected 17 digs while only making one reception error.
How It Happened- The Prairie Stars played a tight first set but the hosts took the first set, 25-21.
- After falling in the second set, 25-16, the Pumas took another close third set 25-22.
- UIS struggled in the match, sporting just a .051 hitting percentage. The Prairie Stars improved in each set but the hosts used 13 kills and a .294 hitting percentage in the final set to take the match.
