Junior forward Dylan Sparkman (East Peoria, Ill.) was a stand out in the month of January, averagin 10.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. He started nine of 10 games played and topped the team with a 63.9 shooting percentage and also made his first three-pointer of the season. Sparkman led the team in scoring in three contests, while also recording a team-high in rebounds in four games. In an overtime game at McKendree, the forward had a career-high 27 points. Sparkman is currently fourth on the team in scoring and tied for first in rebounding.
