Amy Pruitt is in her third year as the Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Excellence at the University of Illinois Springfield in 2024-25.
Pruitt worked at the University of Spa and Cosmetology Arts from 2007-2022. From 2013-22, she was the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. She was responsible for student retention, recruitment, and administering financial aid. She worked with students on their path to graduation, and helping them find employment. Prior to that role, she was an Admissions Officer at the school.
From 2003-2007, Pruitt was an Account Manager at The Office Works. She helped develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to expand current customers and acquire new customers. She primarily worked in the education market.
Pruitt graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies.
Amy and her husband, Bryan, have two children, Emme and Brock, and they live in Chatham, Ill. She has been involved in sports her entire life, and is active on committees with Ball-Chatham sports.
