University of Illinois Springfield Athletics

2011: Played in 51 sets and 21 matches as a freshman… had eight kills, eight digs, and recorded five block assists against Quincy (Oct. 25)… had seven digs against William Jewell (Oct. 21)… tallied two assists vs. Abilene Christian (Sep. 2) and at St. Mary’s (Sep. 3)… nailed two service aces at Drury (Sep. 10) and during the Quincy match… finished the season with 67.5 points… selected to the academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team… also was named to the UIS Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll for both semesters.

High School: Was a two-year member of the varsity volleyball team at Washington Community High School… spent four years on the honor roll and graduated with a 4.0 GPA… named first team all-conference and was on the Peoria Journal Star all-area team… was also part of the Darla Moldenhauser Classic, All-MHS Tournament and Jacksonville 30th Crimson Invite All-Tournament teams.

Personal: Daughter of Don and Linda Houser… majoring in English and minoring in Secondary Education.
