UIS: 
2024 – Earned the GLVC Council of Presidents’ Academic Excellence Award as a senior with a minimum of a 3.50 GPA, completed 96 hours and competed in the GLVC for a minimum of two seasons … led the Stars with 83 blocks, including 16 block solos … finished third on the team in kills with 170 and third in kills per set at 1.62 K/S … recorded 29 service aces … had a season-best seven blocks in the three-set win over St. Edwards in the Forth Worth tournament … had a season-best 13 kills in the five-set loss to Cedarville in the Crossover Tournament … finished with 298 kills and 111 total blocks in her two-year UIS career.

2023- Appeared in 20 matches, played 64 sets... recorded 117 kills, 128.5 points, 31 digs, 22 total blocks... season high of 15.5 points, 15 kills at Southwest Baptist. 

Prior to UIS:
Competed for Lincoln Land Community College ... named to First Team All-Region ... named to Honorable Mention All-Conference ... registered 401 kills as a sophomore at LLCC.

High School:
Her senior year she was named Second Team All-Apollo Conference ... lead the team in digs and kills ... played club volleyball for Rapid Fire ... a member of the school’s honor roll.

Personal:
The daughter of Sandy and Curt Michels ... has four siblings ... a Business major.
