Kate Dumstorff is in her first season in 2020-21 as an assistant coach for the University of Illinois Springfield tennis program.
 
Dumstorff was a member of the Prairie Stars women’s tennis team from 2016-2020. She primarily saw action at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles spots, and the No. 3 doubles position. She had a 13-5 singles record in her career, and a 9-9 doubles mark. Her top season came in 2017-18, when she was 6-2 in singles play, including 5-0 in duals.
 
Dumstorff is originally from O’Fallon, Ill. She went 54-16 in singles during her prep career, and had a 62-35 doubles mark. She reached the IHSA State Doubles Tournament during her career.
 
Dumstorff graduated from UIS with an education degree. She was a three-time member of the GLVC All-Academic Team.
