Jalen Perry joined the UIS Women’s Basketball program as an Assistant Coach for the 2025-26 season. A Bloomington native, Perry brings more than a decade of basketball experience as a player and personal skills trainer. He spent the 2024-25 season as an Assistant Coach with the Parkland College Women’s Basketball program and previously served as a scout for the Brigham Young University Men’s Basketball program.
Perry earned a M.S.Ed. in Sport Administration from the University of Miami, where he also competed on the Men’s Club basketball team.
He began his collegiate career at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, graduating with honors in Sports Management and a minor in Business, and was a point guard for the men’s basketball team from 2019-21.
