Coach Bisch enters her second year as an assistant for the Prairie Stars softball team, serving as a volunteer assitant for UIS.
Bisch (Koester) is a native of Chatham, Illinois where she went to high school at Chatham Glenwood. Earning 12 varsity letters over her four-years --- three in volleyball, basketball, and softball --- Bisch was named All-Central State Eight teams three times in solftball (2000, '02, '03), three times in basketball ('01-'03), and twice in volleyball ('02-'03).
Upon her standout career at Chatham Glenwood, Bisch signed to play softball at the University of Illinois where she was a member of the Fighting Illini for four-years.
Bisch appeared in 90 games throughout her career, starting in 44 --- mostly at catcher. She held a career .990 fielding percentage, making just two errors in four years behind the plate. Additionally, she compiled 17 assists in just two seasons.
