2009-10: played No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the majority of the season... member of the UIS Athletic Director's Academic Honor Roll.

Before UIS: Member of the 20th-ranked team in the nation as a freshman at Lake Land… team was also ranked 13th as a sophomore… squad didn’t lose a regular season match in his two seasons on the roster… member of the doubles team that reached the consolation finals at the national tournament.

High School: won letters in both tennis and table tennis at Nalanda College Prep.

Personal: son of Sunil and Jayanganie Dayaratne… Computer Science major.
