2011-12: Division 2 Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Award winner... played at No. 5 and 6 in singles… posted 11 victories… went 4-3 at No. 5, 4-4 at No. 6, and 3-1 in tournament action… strung together a three-match winning streak in singles… played at No. 2 and 3 in doubles… was victories twice playing at No. 3 with Scott Mauer… was 1-0 at No. 2 with Sharma Kumar… had three doubles wins overall… again selected to the academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team… also was named to the UIS Chancellor’s Academic Honor Roll and made the Dean’s List for both semesters.

2010-11: Redshirt… selected to the academic All-GLVC team… also was named to the UIS Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll and made the Dean’s List for both semesters.

High School: Qualified for the 2010 Illinois State Championship as a senior at LaSalle-Peru… won the Marine Athletic Award and graduated fourth in senior class… named an Illinois State Scholar.

Personal: Son of Rich and Chris Decker… majoring in Biology.
