Carol Quevedo is in her second season as an assistant coach for the University of Illinois Springfield tennis teams in 2022-23.

In her first season as a coach, Quevedo helped the Prairie Stars win a combined 17 matches, and the women’s team advanced to the GLVC Tournament. She coached four all-conference players with two each on the men’s and women’s squads.

Quevedo played one season for UIS in 2020-21, and was an all-GLVC player. She went 12-3 on the year in singles play and 14-2 in doubles action. She set a school record for the best single-season doubles winning percentage, and had the third-best singles winning percentage in the team's NCAA era. In the regular season, she had a perfect 13-0 record while teamed up with current Prairie Star player Franca Bucco.
 
Quevedo was a four-year letterwinner at Young Harris from 2016-20. She won 64 matches there, including 40 in singles play.
 
Quevedo was named to the GLVC Academic All-Conference team last season, and was a member of the Peach Belt All-Academic Team, and the Peach Belt Team of Academic Distinction.
 
Quevedo is originally from Barcelona, Spain.
