2013 UIS Intercollegiate Athletics Coach's Award Recipient ... ITA Academic Honoree and Chancellor's Honor Roll. 

2011-12 
Division 2 Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Award winner... played at No. 3 and 4 in singles… 13 singles wins were second most on the squad… finished 9-6 at No. 3, 1-0 at No. 4, and 3-1 in tournament play… had four victories to start the season and extend winning streak to seven matches dating back to 2010-11 season… played at No. 1 in doubles with Matt McGowan, duo posted nine total victories and was 3-1 during tournament action… again selected to the academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team… also was named to the UIS Chancellor’s Academic Honor Roll and made the Dean’s List for both semesters.

2010-11
Used at No. 4, 5 and 6 in singles as a freshman… finished the year with six victories… was 4-3 while playing at No. 5… finished year on a three-match winning streak… played at No. 1 and 2 in doubles with Matt McGowan… the duo was 9-6 at No. 2… selected to the academic All-GLVC team… also was named to the UIS Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll and made the Dean’s List for the both semesters.

High School
Three-time State qualifier at Freeport… served as team captain for tennis, football and swimming ... won four letters in tennis… also lettered in football and swimming.

Personal 
Born March 15, 1992 ... son of Larry and Sindy Main… majoring in chemistry.  

Why UIS 
Watched a match between Lewis and UIS on a visit to Lewis University, I decided to meet with coach Velasco and I knew UIS was the right place for me.
