Biography

UIS:
2025-26 - Played in five events, including four as an individual. Moved into the starting lineup for the Ken Partridge Invitational in Noblesville, Ind., where he tallied a three-over-par 75 in the final round, best on the squad. Had his best round with an even-par 72 in the final round of the Dan Salisbury Memorial Invitational. Tied for 36th in the 87-competitor field for his best finish of the year. Was also named to the GLVC Council of Presidents’ Academic Excellence Award List as a senior who has exceeded a 3.50 cumulative GPA while competing in the GLVC for at least two seasons. Earned Academic All-GLVC distinction for the academic year after recording a cumulative GPA exceeding 3.30 during the two semesters.

2024-25 – Played three events for seven rounds, averaging 78.3 strokes. Had a season-best one-over-par 73 in the Crabtree Invitational. Was substituted into the lineup at the GLVC Championship, carding a 79-77 in the final two rounds.

2023-23 - A part of a five-man team of underclassmen that finished seventh at the GLVC Championships.

Son of Garett and Hilary Prins ... has two siblings, Geoffrey and Teddy... a communication major.
