Ashlyn Beasley is entering her sixth year in 2021-22 in working in the University of Illinois Springfield athletics department. She is the Assistant Athletics Director for Game Operations and Fan Engagement.
Beasley oversees the marketing efforts for the 17 NCAA DII sponsored sports offered at UIS. She also works closely on the cultivation and fulfillment of corporate sponsorships and revenue generation for the department. She is also in charge of special events such as the Welcome Back BBQ, Prairie Stars Athletics Hall of Fame, Blue Madness, and the Night of Stars Student-Athlete Banquet.
Beasley is a member of the GLVCÂ Diversity and Inclusion Committee. In 2019, she was selected as the GLVC recipient for a grant to attend the national convention for the Women Leaders in College Sports.
Beasley came to UIS from fellow GLVC institution member McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois where she was the Corporate Relations and Promotions Coordinator in 2015-16. During her time at McKendree, she provided marketing and promotion concepts for a wide variety of Bearcat events on campus. She was also charged with seeking out corporate sponsorships to support the student-athlete experience – a skill set that will be transferred to the UIS Department of Athletics. Beasley also assisted with donor and alumni receptions at home athletic events to further steward community support.
Beasley is a 2015 graduate of McKendree with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management, and received a Master’s of Business Administration from McKendree in 2016.
Originally a native of St. Elmo, Illinois, she has two siblings, Britani and Connor, who both also attended McKendree.
