Ryan Margold is in his third year as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Illinois Springfield for the 2024-25 school year. He provides athletic training services for the women’s soccer and baseball programs.
Margold earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2020, followed by a master’s degree in athletic training from UIS in 2022.
A BOC-certified athletic trainer since 2022, Margold is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Illinois Athletic Trainers Association.
Margold is a Springfield, Ill., native.
