Trevor Forde is in his second season as the head coach of the University of Illinois Springfield baseball team in 2025.

The Prairie Stars went 26-23 overall in Forde's first season as head coach in 2024. UIS baseball saw four All-GLVC selections and went 18-9 at the UIS Baseball Field. 

Forde was previously the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of Indianapolis. He spent ten years with the program, three as an athlete (2014-16) and seven as an assistant coach (2017-23).

The Evanston, Ill. native started his collegiate career at Heartland Community College where his teams made two World Series appearances and compiled an impressive record of 110-18. Forde then moved on to play at UIndy. As a Greyhound, Forde started a total of 45 games through two seasons and notched 24 hits and 12 RBIs at the plate.

Forde graduated from the University of Indianapolis with both a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a Master of Science in Sport Management. Forde becomes the fourth head coach of Prairie Stars Baseball.
